Who we are

Fox Coffey is a Vienna based translation firm founded in 1994. To many people in our city it requires no introduction. It is a name that stands for quality and reliability. Most of our customers come to us by recommendation. They include some of the best-known companies in Austria.

Fox Coffey is not a conventional translation agency. At its heart is an in-house team of German-English translators, all of them subject specialists. Supported by a project manager, they provide personal customer service, and are always available to discuss translations. In addition we have many long-standing outside partners - also experts in the same or other fields.

Our reputation for quality comes from teamwork. We don't just share an office, we share our knowledge, too. Our collaborative research, terminology development and project management processes, backed by modern technology, have brought us EU quality certification under the EN15038 standard.



We offer a wide range of languages and specialisms. We are able to do so because we are networked with a large number of other translation firms and freelancers.



Joining the recently founded European Language Industry Association (ELIA) has given us access to many useful contacts with translation service providers, as well as a window on the latest trends in our industry.
